Can I sell ETFs after hours?

Sometimes. If your broker supports extended-hours trading for ETFs, you may be able to sell, but liquidity is usually thinner.

Extended-hours trading (pre-market/after-hours) is offered by many brokers for eligible securities, and that can include ETFs depending on the broker and the product. (kiplinger.com)

The trade-offs are real: fewer participants, wider spreads, and more price jumps. That matters for ETFs too, especially anything that's not very liquid or that holds assets that aren't trading at the same time (some international holdings, certain bonds, etc.).

Extra paragraph: if you sell after hours, using a limit order is usually the safer move. It gives you control over the minimum price you'll accept, which helps reduce the risk of getting filled at an unusually bad price when spreads widen.
