Are ETFs safe?
ETFs are regulated products, but "safe" depends on what the ETF holds and how you use it.

ETFs are regulated investment products, but safety depends on the underlying holdings. A government bond ETF and a leveraged crypto ETF are both ETFs, but their risk profiles are worlds apart.
The ETF structure itself is generally well-regulated and transparent. Most ETFs disclose holdings regularly, and the creation/redemption mechanism helps keep prices aligned with net asset value.
To assess safety, focus on what the ETF owns, how concentrated it is, and whether the risk level matches your goals and time horizon. The wrapper is familiar, but the contents drive the risk.
